Dr. G. Anthony Slagel is a graduate of the University of Dayton and the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in dermatology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining Fayette Medical Clinic, he was Chief, Dermatology Service at Fort Jackson, SC and an assistant professor of medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Recently, he completed a five year term as an officer of the Georgia Society of Dermatologists which culminated in him being president in 2001.

Dr. Slagel is certified by both the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Laser Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
